Here you can participate in the Rutgers University   Medical Decision Making Lab's online experiments.

How the Web-based experiments work:

For Rutgers Psychology 101 students:

These experiments can be used to recieve RPU credit towards your Psychology 101 research participation requirement.  The experiments and the number of credits they are worth are listed below.  Consistent with the psychology department's policy regarding online studies, you will receive half an RPU for each 30 minutes of study participation.  Two of these studies will get you 1 RPU. You do not need to do multiple studies on the same day.  For example, you could do one study now and another study at a later time. Students are only allowed to 1 of their 5 RPUs to come from online studies.

Each experiment will remain on-line until we have as many participants as we need -- this varies with each study.  When we have enough subjects for a given study we will remove the link to that study.

You may participate in as many MDM lab experiments as you want.  However, you may not participate in the same experiment more than once.

If you experience any problems with any experiment, contact us at mdmlab@rci.rutgers.edu.  Please use "Online Experiment Problem" as the subject of your email.  However, please read these Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ) before emailing us.  We may not respond to emails that contain a question answered in the FAQ.
